In a post he shared via his Instastory, the businessman who has an ongoing court case centered on money laundering expressed hope of all his challenges becoming a thing of the past.

#Mompha has served an advice after Hushpuppi’s arrest which has been confirmed the International Police (INTERPOL).
It was reported earlier that Huspuppi and his accomplices in Nigeria, Dubai and other countries allegedly defrauded the US government of over $100 million meant for Native Americans in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.

However reacting to this via an Instastory post he shared, Mompha told his followers not to believe the stories flying around. He stated that same stories surfaced when he was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), but he was only charged with selling foreign currency without license.

Mompha also disclosed that the anti-graft agency are still yet to prove their case against him.

Infamous Nigerian big boy, #Mompha’s insta account has mysteriously reappeared on Instagram after it’s mysterious disappearance from the social app.

16 days ago, we reported that the Instagram page of embattled Dubai-based Nigerian social media celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha a.k.a Mompha seems to have been deactivated.

The deactivation of the account was rumored to be connected to his arrest by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over his alleged involvement in internet fraud and money laundering.

Today, we decided to troll his Instagram page a little, and we discovered that the account is back on Instagram.

It has not been the end of the year many people have envisaged as lots of the Nigerian big boys are being exposed and taken down by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission.

This has been the case following the arrest of popular Dubai big boy, #Mompha who has allegedly been snitching on many other people who are in the same industry.

Another people car dealer was arrested yesterday.



But the gist here is popular instagram “giveaway” master, MC Galaxy and night club owner, Cubana priest are now firmly on the EFCC radar as the agency is building cases against these two.

MC Galaxy has already been invited to the EFCC offices for some questioning but has not yet been arrested, just know that whenever news of their arrest comes out, we break it out to you first!

Though no official statement has been given for Mompha‘s sudden disappearance from the social media platform, this however came after his alleged Lebanese accomplice, Hamza Koudeih was arrested in his N1.8bn Lagos home alongside two other suspects.

9JALOUD reported earlier that the anti-graft agency has uncovered 51 bank accounts Mompha allegedly used for money laundering. The five wristwatches recovered from him after his arrest on Tuesday October 22, has also been found to be worth over N60 million rather than the N20 million earlier thought.

Gar Warner who insinuated he is a West African Crime follower, alleged that Mompha is a top 10 Business Email Compromise scammer/criminal who mostly hides with his money in Dubai. He also expressed hope of Hushpuppi also getting arrested.

#Bobrisky has reacted to #Mompha‘s arrest which was confirmed earlier today by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Recall the anti-graft agency said in its statement that the Dubai-based Nigerian man was arrested over his alleged involvement in internet-related fraud and money laundering.

Reacting to news of his arrest, Bobrisky expressed hope of Mompha surviving his current challenge which he described as a ‘tough time’. The crossdresser also disclosed that he finds it quite hard to believe all that has been written about the arrested Dubai-based Nigerian man.

He wrote:

Dubai Big Boy #Mompha has been confirmed to be in EFCC custody after news of his arrest went viral yesterday.
In a report by Premium Times, the self-acclaimed bureau de change operator was arrested in connection to the alleged graft.

Wilson Uwujaren, a spokesperson for the EFCC, confirmed Mr Mustapha had been taken into custody by anti-graft detectives but declined to provide further details in the meantime.

The arrest was reportedly a joint operation between Interpol and the EFCC. But Umar Garba, Nigeria’s head of Interpol said although he had learned of the arrest, all enquiries should be treated by the EFCC as the primary law enforcement institution in charge of the investigation.
News of the arrest of Mr Mustapha, widely known by his business moniker ‘Mompha’, spread quickly as a rumour across Nigerian social media Monday evening.

Mr. Mustapha has cut the personality of one of Nigeria’s wealthiest socialites on social media, using Instagram to post pictures of his family’s wealth.
In some of his most recent posts on his verified Instagram page, which has nearly 650,00 followers, Mr Mustapha featured a yellow Ferrari and a 2020 Rolls Royce Wraith Eagle VIII he claimed to have purchased for N180 million.

He said he was the first African to own the Rolls Royce and it was only one out of 50 exotic vehicles he owned across the world. Celebrity bloggers claimed the Ferrari was bought earlier this year for N155 million.

Dubai-based Nigerian,  #Hushpuppi has reacted to the arrest of Ismaila Mustapha aka #Mompha, by International Police (Interpol).

Nigerians had earlier stormed Hushpuppi’s Instagram page to say he will be the next to be arrested shortly after the news Mompha’s alleged arrest made the rounds on social media.

While reacting to their bad wish, he took to his insta-story to say all those waiting for bad news would perish.

He went on to add how Christ saw “all the righteous people in the Jericho, yet decided to stay at the house of a sinful tax collector like Zacchaeus.”
