Burna Boy Calls For “Institutional Reform” In The Police Force Burna133
Nigerian Singer, Burna Boy is calling for “Institutional reform” in Nigeria especially for the police force.
In a tweet he made on the 14th of October, Burna Boy lamented about the way Police Offers are being paid.

According to him, there is no reason a police officer should be paid 50/60 thousand Naira a month, adding it was too poor.

He said that this poor wages doesn’t help anyone. Burna has been lending his voice to the ongoing #EndSars Movement.

“It’s a great morning to demand for institutional reform in Nigeria. No reason why a sergeant on the police force earns 50/60k ($127) a month with no benefits! It doesn’t help our plight. #SARSMUSTEND

He started an intiative called “Project Protect” to help protesters who come into trouble while protesting on the street.

He also launched #EndSars campaigns on billboards in Lagos and Port-Harcourt.
