Veteran singer, #Blackface has lost his father. The singer made the announcement via a tweet he shared.
Blackface revealed that his father, Mr Ahmedu Ocholi passed on, on October 8.

He tweeted;

Today 8th October 2020 the great Mr Ahmedu Ocholi passed away You played your part well Papa You are the first Elder Statesman that our people of Agatu call on to settle any form of dispute!!! You served your country well and you are the best dad ever Adious Papa Adious Papa!!!

After a long battle with his former band member, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba (formerly Tuface), #Blackface Naija has followed up with the official music video for the controversial single titled “African Queen“.

Nigerian singer and songwriter, #Blackface returns with a brand new single which he titled “Ife“.
‘Ife‘ is his second single for the month already, following the release of his own version of 2Baba‘s continental hit record ‘African Queen‘.

The record is the second single off Blackface‘s forthcoming album titled ‘The Return‘ which has been scheduled for release in 2020.

Furthermore, the song was produced by Eden, mixed and mastered by Nelson Brown for LoudHouz Entertainment.

#Blackface is in the news again and this time around he appears to be shading Tiwa Savage.

The music star and former member of the defunct group ‘Plantashuz Boyz’ while granting an interview with Max FM made some comments which from all indications were pointed towards Tiwa Savage.

According to him, some singers have started making lyrics which aren’t reasonable.

“What I noticed over the years is that the lyrics became flimsy and some people lost their sense of belonging, sense of who they are. Because I started hearing some ladies do some song like not really going well with how you want to hear a lady talk like.

“When a lady is telling you somethings that really don’t count s’o ma gbe mi lo’le, will you gbadun my waist…i just think the ladies and the women should come up with reasonable lyrics,”

He said.

Another interesting part of the interview was when he was a bit incoherent when asked about his kids and their age difference.

“My daughter she is like 18, 17 now then my son…my daughter is not up to 18, my should be like 15, 16. Then my should be like 11, 12,”

He said.

One thing we know for a fact is that Blackface has never been shy to call out other celebrities.

Recall that about five months ago, he called former band member 2Face Idibia, gay.

After several years of accusing legendary 2Baba of stealing his song “African Queen“, #Blackface decided to let go the acclaimed original version.

Even after dropping their differences publicly at a concert at Festac, Lagos, Blackface still decided to cause an uproar with this version he dropped.

With no sentiment attached, the former Plantashun Boiz act, Blackface did extremely perfect on this his own version.
