His name is Traidmarc, a Nigerian – Australian rapper, songwriter and producer born McDonald Emiantor in Benin City, Edo State.
Traidmarc’s mother single-handedly raised him and his seven siblings. In 1999, his family relocated to London for a better life. In 2009, Traidmarc moved to Melbourne, Australia to pursue his career and complete his education.
If you ask, he’s not new to the music scene, he’s been around for quite a while. In 2011, his debut single, “Come Dance With Me” hit over a million streams in 24 hours. In 2013, he dropped his debut album “The Walls Have Ears”.
Traidmarc made a comeback in 2019 after his long hiatus to get a degree and since then, he has not backed down.
Traidmarc’s music is inspired by his personal hardship and happenings in society. Safe to say that he’s an artist who lends his voice to every form of injustice. His song End SARS is one of many where he has been able to lend his voice to happenings in Nigeria.
Since his return in 2019, he has decided to put out his sophomore album titled Epilog on November 20. The album has 24 tracks and it took him 10 years to put it all together.
