Popular Nigerian singer and hit maker, Burna Boy has been announced as the winner of the Best Africa Act award at the 2019 MTV EMA’s.

Based On Sound (Beats, Rhythms and Lyrics) Risky is that catchy, melodic-driven pop tune you groove to immediately you hear it. The lyrics and beat are in exact synergy, complementing each other. You hear it, you feel it and you just have to react.
Ghetto Love sounded like a half baked, poorly recorded track. The beat contains the essentials of a hit record, but the lyrics betrays it, letting it down.
Joro on the other hand had me thinking, “How did #Wizkid waste such a beat shouting Joro 63 times”. The track portrayed #Wizkid as perhaps confused, and he had to resort to his comfort zone – Appealing to his woman about love. The exact playbook he used on Fever.
Acceptance And Popularity Risky is still in its first week and the way it’s been gaining replay value is insane. Radio, clubs have accepted it with open arms just a few days after its release.
However, it took us a long time before we finally warmed up to Joro. Some have still not accepted the record still harping on it’s weakness: lack of good quality lyrics as the reason.
But right now, Joro is proving to be a viral record as it’s topping charts everywhere and the numbers on YouTube are increasing everyday. Seems it has finally grown on us.

#Davido has blasted TBoss for her comments on the video showing the girls who accused him of impregnating one of them in handcuffs, Praizenews report.
TBoss in a video condemned Davido and his crew for handcuffing the girls, saying they had no right to do that instead they should have reported to the Police.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, has revealed that music superstar, #Davido may end up in serious trouble for illegally arrest two girls who claimed he impregnated one of them.
Recall that the video of the incident went viral last week, showing the two girls claiming that Davido slept with Helen, one of them, at the Eko Hotel and Suites and got impregnated.
This infuriated the DMW boss, whose wife, Chioma, had just given birth at that time. Davido had promised toget the girls arrested and charged to court for defamation.
In a turn of events, another video surfaced on Monday where the girls are seen in handcuffs.
In a video posted by Davido’s hypeman, Special Spesh, the two ladies, Helen and Susan, are seen in handcuffs as they are queried before the camera.
A report by TheNation revealed that the police spokesman Elkana, however, denied that the police was responsible for the illegal arrest. Elkana criticised the singer and his crew for parading the girls in handcuffs and said that the girls can sue Davido for illegal arrest.
Elkana said private citizens have no right to parade suspects and only a court of competent jurisdiction can pronounce someone guilty of a crime.
Meanwhile the artiste will release his second album on Novembe,r 22.
The second studio album titled ‘A Good Time’ will be released by Davido Music Worldwide/Sony Music U.K./RCA Records.
Davido made the announcement on Monday week via his Instagram page.
He tweeted; “A GOOD TIME NOV 22!!!”
The album will serve as a follow up on the last album titled, ‘Omo Baba Olowo’, which was released in 2012.
According to the singer, the album will also feature; ‘Blow my mind’ featuring American singer, Chris Brown and ‘Risky’ featuring Popcaan, which he released recently.
It would be recalled that sometimes last month, the singer held a listening party. There, he hinted attendees about the upcoming album and some songs featured on the album was played.
Davido also stated that the album will feature productions from all his go-to hitmakers; Kiddominant, Shizzi, Speroachbeatz, FreshVDM and one international producer.
Former Big brother Naija house mate, Tboss recently react to the video of the girls #Davido caught and handcuff for false acussation.
Tboss who recounted being subjected to same cyber-bullying by trolls, stated that it is quite primitive for Davido to arrest and put those girls in handcuff.
She added that it is not in his place to do so because he is not supposed to teach anyone a lesson.
Tboss who described the act as “bullying”, averred that it is quite sad that Davido and members of his team will get away with it.
The mother of one who also asked if people now walk around with handcuffs looking for offenders to place it on, affirmed that the girls were not legally arrested.
However it’s been speculated that the pregnancy allegation and the arrest was a hoax as Davido shared a video of the girls swimming and vibing to his new hit ‘Risky’ on Wednesday October 30.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, has faulted Edward Ijah, the sidekick of popular musician,#Davido, for handcuffing and parading the two women who accused Davido of impregnating one of them, a report by Punch has revealed.
Recall that Davido’s hype man, known as Special Spesh, today posted a video on Instagram showing the two women, Helen and Susan, handcuffed and sitting on a chair in a living room. Spesh could be heard telling one of the ladies to lift up her head or get a slap in the face.
He subsequently told them they were in trouble for “deformation (sic) of character.”
Davido also posted a smiley in the comment section, laughing over the treatment meted out to the women. Speaking with The PUNCH on Tuesday, however, the police spokesman said it was wrong of Davido and his team to take the law into their own hands. Elkana said a citizen has the right to arrest another person and hand over to the police immediately. He said no citizen had the right to parade another citizen.
Elkana noted that a popular rich man, Onye Eze, was arrested earlier in the year for arresting a popular blogger, Blessing Okoro, who had taken photos of his house, claiming ownership of the property.
The police spokesman said, “Even if someone defamed your character, you are to hand over the person to the police immediately but to parade them is wrong.
The person being paraded has the right to sue. Private citizens have no right to parade another person. “Not all policemen even have the power to parade suspects.
“You cannot be a judge in your own case. If he feels aggrieved, he should lodge a complaint and not go to effect an arrest. He cannot conclude the guilt of another person. There must be an investigation and only a court can pronounce them guilty.”
The two women had last week accused Davido of being responsible for impregnating one of them and the report went viral on social media.
Davido subsequently offered N1m to anyone who could fish out the girls.
They were subsequently arrested on Tuesday and paraded by the musician’s sidekick.

Their foreign accent disappeared after they were caught as they were heard apologizing in Yoruba and pleading that Davido should forgive them.
It would be recalled that Davido earlier reacted to the viral video that the girls made, insisting that he impregnated one of them by saying “Mark my words, these hoes are going to jail” .
Davido has vowed to ensure the ladies in the viral video end up in prison. However, Davido on reacting to the new video of them after been caught and handcuffed, he wrote;

In reaction, controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze said the singer’s prayer is more viable that of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, which was also shared on social media and centered on suspension of protocols, rules and criteria in order to be promoted.
