Nigerian music legend, Tuface Idibia also known as #2Baba has told youths what to do to ensure an end to bad governance in the country.
Following the End SARS protest, youths have continued to demand accountability and good governance in the country.

Tuface, speaking on the development, advised youths to get in touch with the lawmakers representing their constituencies and demand good governance.

On his official Twitter page, he wrote:

“We need to know our constituencies and the people representing us.
“It won’t take much of our time.Na them “SUPPOSE” to represent their people. House of reps and senate.
“All of them ‘just dey laff us because na, PRESIDENCY/BUHARI everybody face. Na them dey make laws’.”

Tuface further advised few good government officials to expose those corrupt and clean the system.

“I know there are many patriotic great men and women in government but the criminals have outnumbered them.

“You can’t be silent and expect the MASSES to read your mind.

“SHOW WORKING. Expose the people that are blocking ‘naija progress. Soro sóké’ . Speak up!!!

“We can do this,” he added.

Music legend, Tuface Idibia popularly known as #2Baba has described the plans by Nigerian government to regulate social media as irresponsible.
We recalls that the minister of information, Lai Mohammed on Saturday said the Buhari-led government had no intention of shutting down social media.

According to the minister, the government has regards for freedom of speech and therefore plans to only regulate social media in order to stop sending fake news and promoting hate speech.

According to him, a responsible government would not talk about regulating social media at a time where the youths are demanding an end to bad governance, amongst others

Reacting, Tuface urged the leaders to do the needful first before regulating social media.

On his Twitter page, he wrote: “It is the irresponsibility of Nigeria’s successive governments, political elites, corporate greed and thievery that made social media enter Nigeria without regulation in the first place.

“All this talk against it now stinks of desperation from irresponsible leaders.Do the needful 1st!

“’If to say them be responsible governments no be now them for dey talk this one.’ It shows how irresponsible all of them have been

Tuface, however, added that everything is expected to be regulated in order to maintain law and order in the country but not in the direction the government was planning.

Legendary Nigerian musician, Innocent ‘Tuface’ Idibia, popularly known as #2Baba has thrown his weight behind the ongoing protest against police brutality in the country.
Tuface said Nigeria should be shut down completely, amid the End SARS protest.

In a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, the Benue-born singer said Nigerians should stop going to work until politicians were made to answer for bad governance.

Tuface said only markets should be allowed to open.

“I wonder why everybody is still going to work. We need a total shutdown until these politicians start to answer!! Unless they want to use SARS to pursue us to go work #EndSARS.

#2Baba held a session with a renowned music journalist, Joey Akan on his Afrobeats Intelligence series, and he made this shocking revelation.
I was going through the interview and I was personally enticed to how a “Legend” like 2baba humbly described himself when asked, “If he can call himself a legend yet”.

In his response, 2baba gave criteria of attaining a legendary status and not by just releasing hit songs only. Guess many artistes need to understand this criterion too.

Do you think you’re a legend?
(Laughs) Hmmm… For myself, like I said about things, I think I still want to achieve a lot of those things before I would actually call myself a legend.

So when people call me that, I think it’s because I’ve been for a while in the game. I mean, I’ve achieved a whole lot, you know.

But for me to have legendary status, I think it’s more than just being popular. I think it has a whole lot more to do with general, overall everything.

Me I dey think say I never enter that, because the title heavy well well o. That legend title, these days if you just get one hit you don be legend.

People play with that word. I mean, the word is dead. The meaning is deep. It’s bigger than the way people just talk about it these days.

These days, everybody na legend. But I dont think it’s like that. Legendary status na something else. When people call me a legend, it’s a huge compliment and I take it with great humility.

It comes with a great responsibility as well. For me, na heavy challenge. I’m working towards becoming an actual legend.

Let’s hope that I achieve all these things I’m saying. Then that time. I go come claim am myself say ‘yes.’ Hit my chest say ‘ehen the legend has arrived.

2baba in an interview spoke well of all the past women he’s dated and baby mamas but spoke expressly on Annie.

Popular Nigerian singer and hit maker, Burna Boy has been announced as the winner of the Best Africa Act award at the 2019 MTV EMA’s.



Burna who was nominated alongside fellow Nigerian, Teni the Entertainer, South Africa’s Prince Kaybee and Nasty C, Harmonize from Tanzania and Togo’s duo TooFan, took home the prestigious award at a star-studded event held in Seville, Spain on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019.

With his 2019 MTV EMA win, Burna Boy joins an exclusive list of Nigerian superstar artists who have won the much-coveted international honor. Past Nigerian winners of the MTV EMA Best Africa Act award include #2Baba Idibia, D’Banj, Tiwa Savage and #Davido.

The sound of this classic song is an Afropop version of Sean Kingston’s hit tune ‘Beautiful Girls’ produced by Danny Beats, the afrobeat artistes owned this up.
