The management of the Northwest University (NWU), Kano (now Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano) has released the first batch admission list for the 2018/2019 academic session.

Candidates that participated in the Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano admission screening exercise can now check their admission status online.

The under-listed candidates have been offered Provisional Admission for Degree Programmes into Northwest University (NWU), Kano (now Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano) for the 2018/2019 Academic Session.

Successfully admitted candidates should login to the JAMB website to either ACCEPT or REJECT the offer

You can also access your status on JAMB Admission Status checking portal. Follow the procedure below to check:


  1. Go jamb.org.ng/efacility.
  2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
  3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
  4. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
  5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your NWU admission status.
