Popular award winning Nigerian singer and DMW record label boss, David Adeleke, professionally known as #Davido has declared Mavins Records singer, Rema is “way ahead” of his generation.

The ‘Assurance’ and ‘Fall’ crooner made this remark about his fellow musician on Monday, June 1, 2020.

This is coming after after Rema reacted to the mannerism with which Nigerian youth protested against recent death of Uwaila and Tina. Who were killed by Rapists and Police respectively.

Uwaila was raped and killed in an RCCG Church in Edo state. While Tina was shot dead by a trigger happy police officer.

Rema took to microblogging platform, Twitter and wrote;

“TBH (To be honest) I feel weird fighting for my generation behind a keypad.”

According to Rema, he would rather make his voice heard through more effective means than protesting behind a keypad on social media.

Music executive Ubi Franklin lauded the young lad for such powerful utterance. He shared a screenshot of the tweet on his Instagram page and wrote;

“This tweet right here"

However, Davido on seeing Rema’s post as shared by Franklin, took to his insta story to praise him .

A video making rounds on social media has captured the moment popular singer, #Davido ignored a young guy who tried to familiarize with him.
Davido went live on Instagram with Cubana Chiefpriest and a guy who stood close to Cubana began to Scream ‘OBO’ to Davido who just wouldn’t bulge.

After two desperate failed attempts to be friendly, the guy got the message and backed off.

Recall, Some months ago, a loyal fan of the singer called him out on social media and shared a video evidence that captured the moment Davido slapped him on the chest for trying to get a selfie at the airport.

Davido who shocked fans with news of a new album, “A Better Time” which he said would be dropping in July also announced that the album recording process is complete.

Now he has taken to social media to thank Speroach who according to him is the Executive producer for the album and also produced his highly anticipated collaboration with Nicki Minaj.

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adedeji-Adeleke, also known as #Davido, has announced that his upcoming album, “A Better Time (ABT)” is finally ready.

This comes after the multi-award winning singer revealed plans to feature Tiwa Savage on his latest project.

The father took to his Twitter page on Wednesday to state that the soon-to-be-released album was completed within 14 days.

“We recorded #ABT in 14 days”, Davido tweeted while making the big announcement on Twitter.

The singer also announced that he will be doing a 500k giveaway on Instagram.

#Davido has revealed that his highly anticipated album, “A Better Time” was recorded in fourteen days.

Davido had recently announced that he would be releasing his third studio album in July which is titled “A Better Time”.

He also announced that one of the songs will be featuring American rapper, Nicki Minaj and another will feature Tiwa Savage.

“A Better Time” album will be preceded by “A Good Time” album which was released in 2019 which had songs like ‘Risky’, ‘1 Milli’, ‘Sweet in the middle’ ‘Blow my mind’ amongst others.

#Peruzzi has shared an interesting detail on the highly anticipated #Davido and Nicki Minaj collaboration.
Davido had recently announced that he and Nicki Minaj have joined forces to produce a song. Though he didn’t disclose the name of the song and date it would be released, the news sent social media wilding.

Davido also announced that the song would be part of tracks to be part of his forthcoming third studio album, “A Better Time” which he intends on releasing in July.

Peruzzi revealed that Nicki Minaj sent back her verse just two days after she was sent the beat.
