During Wizkid’s performance, his phone fell-off his pocket as a result of the excitement that overhwelmed Wizkid when he climbed the stage with Burna Boy.

Lets settle this and don't be bias because you are fan, we want good music, #WizKid and Naira Marley have been the two artistes whose lyrics have been criticized recently for several reasons.
For many, #Wizkid‘s case is puzzling. Year in, year out, his content has been called out. 2017, it was about #WizKid adopting a culture that’s not his.
The input on his project, Sounds From The Side lacked the basic Afrobeat sounds and deviated more to the Caribbean vibes. 2018, his main record, Fever wasn’t really felt and it didn’t reign on the scene for long.
What About Now? For an artist who made a comeback with solid successful singles like Low and the popularised Brown Skin Girl, we had expected “High premium quality sound” from Starboy. But Joro and Ghetto Love were missing that attribute.
It’s the same truth about Naira Marley. While we might have fallen in love with his “Lamba infused sound“, his content has more of vulgar filled lyrics and the message the song is trying to pass across is destroyed by the input of the profane words these songs usually contain.
And as a result of this, it might have an adverse effect on Naira Marley.
Brands will not prefer to associate themselves with someone who’s not passing the right message with the tracks they’re pushing out.
So Guys, Between #Wizkid Or Naira Marley, Who Do You Think Needs A Songwriter Urgently?
Concerts rolling in, announcement dates for the December rave are being made and fans of course are getting set for the end of the year madness. Still, it brings to mind, who really pulls off “The best performance on stage”
#WizKid comes to mind first, his stage craft, how he relates with the crowd is exceptional. The star power, aura and how he turns the stage to “his bedroom”, making love to his fans by singing is a beauty.
His recent gig at The O2 was thrilling. Perhaps the best we’ve seen so far.
D’banj possesses energy, perhaps the crowd wants that. His performance is energy-filled, his dance moves and there’s this way he connects this “energy” to the fans in which the fans “catch” it and reciprocate it. A D’banj concert will leave you spell-bound.
And who will forget a Burna Boy show. Fela‘s second coming. Afrobeats favoured son. Burna Boy‘s performance is one you can call “complete” in every way. The vibe is there, there’s that exhibition of the some exquisite dance steps and he moves well with the crowd.
These three give their best when it comes to stage performances.

There are polarizing opinions about #Davido‘s new record. The guys from the WizkidFC won’t agree, but Risky is one of the hottest song right now. The song sounds like a perfect jam, with the sound intact and impressive song writing.
We heard it and felt its sound immediately. People are claiming it’s a better jam than #Wizkid‘s last two records, Joro and Ghetto Love and while we’re seeking your opinions if it is the better song, we also want to compare and contrast these three records.
Based On Sound (Beats, Rhythms and Lyrics) Risky is that catchy, melodic-driven pop tune you groove to immediately you hear it. The lyrics and beat are in exact synergy, complementing each other. You hear it, you feel it and you just have to react.
Ghetto Love sounded like a half baked, poorly recorded track. The beat contains the essentials of a hit record, but the lyrics betrays it, letting it down.
Joro on the other hand had me thinking, “How did #Wizkid waste such a beat shouting Joro 63 times”. The track portrayed #Wizkid as perhaps confused, and he had to resort to his comfort zone – Appealing to his woman about love. The exact playbook he used on Fever.
Acceptance And Popularity Risky is still in its first week and the way it’s been gaining replay value is insane. Radio, clubs have accepted it with open arms just a few days after its release.
However, it took us a long time before we finally warmed up to Joro. Some have still not accepted the record still harping on it’s weakness: lack of good quality lyrics as the reason.
But right now, Joro is proving to be a viral record as it’s topping charts everywhere and the numbers on YouTube are increasing everyday. Seems it has finally grown on us.
Verdict: Tight
But guys, it’s up to you to decide.

Congratulations to Popular Nigerian Music star, #Wizkid as he set to shoot the music video of "Brown Skin Girl" with American Singer, Beyoncé Knowles.
The video is presently being shot in a number of locations across London with some of it being shot in Catford and Thamesmead, respectively.

Nigerian superstar, Wizkid and the American singer, Beyonce have commenced shooting the music video for fans favourite song ‘Brown Skin Girl.’
According to a British tabloid, the 38 years old American singer has called on black and brown people of different cultures, nationalities, ethnicities, genders and ages to come tell their stories.
The video is presently being shot in a number of locations across London with some of it being shot in Catford and Thamesmead, respectively.
The video would be directed by a Nigerian, Jenn Nkiru who was Born in Peckham, England.
Nkiru had also worked with Beyonce and her husband, Jay Z on their smash hit single, ‘Apesh*t’ in 2018.
Another incredible video shot at the Louvre was also directed by Nkiru.
News Agency of Nigeria recalls that the Africa/American tracks on Beyonce’s album, ‘The Lion King’, featured Wizkid, Burna Boy, Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade, among others.
