Fans of Afrobeat superstar, #Wizkid can’t take it anymore as they hit the street, protesting for the album to be released with immediate effect.
It’s been a long time the singer promised his fans of a new album titled “Made In Lagos”. News of the album has kept fans awake all day and night in other to miss the link when it is released.

It is starting to look like a mirage as the singer hasn’t updated his fans on the supposed album. Quite a number of them have lost hope and may probably switch camps as the singer has already fallen below the pecking order in music business per billbiard’s calculations.

Some fans who can’t take it anymore have hit the street of Nigeria to protest on Wizkid’s decision to keep them in the dark about the forthcoming album. One angry protestor was seen with a placard with the inscription “Wizkid drop the already”!

This is a high level demand from a fan who is musically hungry and needs to be fed with good melodius tunes from the afrobeat genuis.

American entertainment media brand, Billboard has released its most streamed Nigerian Musicians in 2020 — these artists are the ones pushing the music emanating from the country across the world.
Topping the list is Burna Boy with over 435 million streams. Following the Afro-fusion singer is David Adeleke, also known as #Davido with over 285 million streams.

Coming at third place is #Wizkid with over 176 million streams.

Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Sinach is the most streamed female musician, and the number one artiste in Gospel with 120 million streams.

Yemi Alade is the second most streamed female musician and first female in secular music. She garnered over 109 million streams.

Popular Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has emerged as Billboard’s most-streamed artist in the entire sub-Saharan African ahead of #Wizkid and #Davido.
The list titled Billboard’s Top 15 Sub-Saharan African Artists is based on global views.

Taking the lead with 435.57 million streams, Burna Boy might be defending his brag about being the African giant.

Davido who scooped the third spot with 285.7M streams was displaced by Diamond Platnumz who scooped the second spot with 291.98M streams.

Wizkid who did not make the top three spot however emerged as the 5th most streamed artist with 176.23M streams.

Also featured on the list is Sinach, the Nigerian gospel singer who became the first African to top the Billboard USA Christian songwriters chart last month.

Burna Boy might be proving to Nigerian music lovers why he claims to be the giants of Africa ahead of Wizkid and Davido.

The church was a breeding ground for most people. So while growing up and ascending from the children’s class, you have to join the workforce and be useful.

So either you join the ushering unit or joined the songbirds at the Choir. Most people go to the choir because you end up wearing white and black and you most times are not confused about what to wear to church on Sunday.
