A few weeks ago, Nigerian superstar, #Davido announced the title of his new album as ‘A Good Time’ to industry people and journalists at an event in Lagos, Nigeria.

At the event, he also played them a few songs. While Nigerian rapper, #YCee had been jokingly nervous about releasing his debut album, YCeevsZaheer on the same date as Davido, he might be happy at Davido‘s release date.

On October 28, 2019, Davido took to his Instagram page to announce his album release date as November 22, 2019. The post reads, “A GOOD TIME NOV 22 !!!!!!!!!!! RISKY OUT NOW!!”



A few days ago, he released the ‘Risky,’ the second single off the album.

#Zlatan‘s highly teased debut album, ‘Zanku: The Album’ will be released this Friday, November 1, 2019.

The album which will #Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Patoranking, Barry Jhay and so forth has 17 tracks – 15 main and two bonus. Production is handled by Speroach, Rexxie, Spellz, Kiddominant, IamBeatz, and Miraqulousbeatz. Mixing will be handled by Spiritmyx and Ifex.

The announcement was made in an Instagram post by Zlatan on October 28, 2019.

He wrote,

“My people!!! How una dey? It is with great joy and deep gratitude to God that I present you all the track list of our soon-to-drop album titled ZANKU. My journey has been a mixture of pain, laughter, disappointments, gains, sadness, peace and more.

“I have had low and high moments. In all of these though, God has been faithful. Without God, there would have been no Zlatan Ibile. It is my pleasure to share my life experience with y’all through our album. ZLATANOVAZ, I can’t thank you enough for your support. No ZLATANOVAZ, no Zlatan Ibile. I put in a lot to deliver the best album but couldn’t have done it alone.

#Wizkid’s songs Joro has become a trend on Twitter after #Davido asked his followers to state which song is the hottest in night clubs right now.

Recall that a few days ago, Davido dropped Risky a song which features an international artiste, Popcaan, and was well hyped along the lines of two ladies who accused him of impregnating one of them.

Perhaps, Davido was expecting fans to mention Risky or Blow My Mind which features Chris Brown.

However, the song almost everyone pointed at is Joro which now has over 8 million views on YouTube and will most likely set a record as the first Nigerian music video to reach 10million views in a month.
