JAMB Closes Sales of 2019 UTME Registration Forms, Online Registration Still Ongoing Jamb-c10

LATEST UPDATE:
The board had earlier closed the sale of its UTME and Direct Entry application document on Thursday, February 21. But it was discovered that 41,063 candidates created profiles and were unable to complete their registration formalities after initiating the process.
In view of this, the Board has opened the registration portal effective from Wednesday 13th March, for all candidates with either UTME or DE ePINS to complete their registration formalities. The portal would be closed on Friday, 15th March 2019 by midnight.
This opportunity is for only candidates who had created profile and procured UTME or DE ePINS before the close of registration portal as the sale of ePINS had since been closed.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has stopped the sale of 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) forms, but candidates that have already purchased e-Pins for the exams but were unable to register before now can still go on with their registration.

Sales of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) 2019 UTME forms, ended on Thursday, 21st February, 2019.

According to the board’s Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin, online registration would continue until the board decides.

Benjamin said: “This is because some people earlier bought e-pins for the exams but were unable to register before now, so we are monitoring them online and would avail them the opportunity to register.

“Therefore, we cannot give the exact figure of the registered candidates for now until this is over. ”
