Popular  Nigeriand Dancehall singer Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie better known as #Patoranking is one whose heart is acquainted with life in the ghetto.
The ‘Alubarika’ crooner has always mentioned his humble beginnings in most of his songs. However, the story surrounding his rise to the top runs deep.

In a bid to motivate his fans Patoranking has shared an unfamiliar story about his journey from grass to grace.

According to the Amari Musiq boss, he once worked at the popular fast food Chicken Republic in GRA Ikeja. He went on explain that the job at Chicken Republic was a life saver for his family.

Now he looks back and smiles at his humble beginnings.

Popular reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie simply known and addressed as #Patoranking has advised his fans not to get pressured.

Speaking via his official Twitter handle, the 29-year-old singer added that great things take time to come by.

The Ijegun born ‘Alubarika’ crooner shot into prominence in 2011 following the release of his ‘girlie o’ hit single.

He then became a protégé of Timaya’s Dem Mama Records after collaborating with him on his song “Alubarika”. In February 2014,

Sensational Nigerian singer #Patoranking has said that Nigerians are extremely funny as reactions trail President Buhari’s Monday night speech.
Taking to his twitter page to react to a twitter users comment Patoranking who indicated that Nigerians are very funny explained his reasons for saying so.

It will be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari had yesterday announced an extension to the stay at home order to help curb the issue of Boko Haram.

Buhari who in his speech indicated that the lockdown in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun state will be eased on the 4th of May, however, said that Kano’s will be on two weeks complete lockdown.

#Patoranking premieres the visual to his latest single titled “Lenge Lenge“, off his forth coming album tagged “Wilmer”

The colorful video with an African setting had amazing choreographers on the Luke Biggins + Rebekah Creative directed visual.

Finally, Lenge Lenge is available on all platforms and Wilmer, the album is out on 24 May 2019.
