A twitter user has rumoured that the winner of the BBNaija season 5 reality TV show, Laycon, will be among the featured artist in Davido‘s “A Better Time” album.
The “A Better Time”, or “ABT” as it is fondly called is the third studio album by Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Davido. The album is rumoured to have various artists, both international and local, on it.

Recently, a twitter user has revealed that the album will also be having Nigeria’s most sought after Big Brother Naija winner, Laycon, among the list of featured artists.

The highly anticipated third studio album of #Davido, ‘A Better Time’ is set to be released on November 13. This release date has been confirmed by Apple Music.
The album officially contains 17 tracks. Featured artists on the album include Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, Nas, and Tiwa Savage.

Recall Davido shared in a recent interview that he got Nicki Minaj to feature on the album via Instagram. He added that he has never met the American rapper.

Although the track list is yet to be unveiled, the album is already available for pre-order on Apple Music. The album has been reputed to be one of the best albums to drop in the year 2020.

Social media influencer, Mr Odanz has blasted fans of #Davido and #Wizkid who love to worship and defend the celebrities on all platforms.
Sharing on Twitter, Mr Odanz said that such people are not far from being a psycho.

He added that he usually maintains a distance from them because they are mentally unstable.

He shared:

“It is okay to like Wizkid or Davido or any other celebrity for whatever reason. But the moment you make it a job to worship and defend them all over social media and troll others in the process, it becomes a huge red Shippe flag. Celebrity worshippers are not so far from psychos

“In fact we are getting close and I start noticing your constant defence and worship for any celebrity figure, I’d take large step back. From my experience, most people like that are mentally unstable. Very unstable.”

Nigerians on Twitter have dug up a tweet from 2011, of DMW boss, #Davido pleading with people to support Starboy #Wizkid.
Davido in the tweet was telling people that they can buy Wizkid’s album for as low as 150-200 naira on the streets. He also went ahead to ask people to retweet and support.

“With 150-200 Naira, you can buy @wizkidayo’s album on the streets of Naija. #support #support RT PLS”

Recall that earlier this month, Davido in a new interview with Ebuka, revealed that he saw Wizkid as a motivation which gave him the conviction that he could also make it in the industry.

The “If” singer disclosed that he first met Wizkid when the singer was invited to his father’s yearly Christmas party.

International superstar, David Adeleke popularly known as #Davido has reacted to the hijacking of the #EndSARS protest to unleash mayhem across the country.

The singer who noted that turning of the peaceful protest into a complete anarchy is a disrespect to those that lost their lives in the struggle, wondering the gain in burning and looting private businesses.

He also wondered why police stations are burnt down when one of the demands of the protesters was better police welfare and training. Davido averred that we need a country where there is law and order for us to make any real change.

As Nigerians come to terms with the events that followed the Nationwide #EndSars Protests which #Davido has been actively involved in, the FEM singer has dropped a new release date for his upcoming album, A Better Time.
The official fan page of Davido which is called Davidoglobalnews in a series of posts hinted that the album will now be released on the 3rd of December 2020 as opposed to its initial date of 30th of October which would’ve been less than a week away.


To confirm and ensure these hints are indeed facts, a media platform reached out to them reached out to the official fan page and they confirmed that the anticipated work, A Better Time, is indeed now scheduled for the 3rd of December.

It’s no longer secret that #Davido would be dropping a new album “A Better Time” in 2020 though a specific hasn’t been announced.
In a clip released by Popular brand, “Vype”, Davido shares the inspiration that birthed his forthcoming alum.

According to him, the lockdown led to his tour being cancelled, and due to being stuck at home, he had a lot of time on his hands to do music.

The “Fem” singer said that the album contains collaborations featuring Nicki Minaj who he communicated with via DM, Nas who he met in a studio alongside Hitboy, Lil Baby, and Mayorkun who is featured on two songs

He said he called the album “A Better Time” because African Music is in a better place and he is enjoying a better time.

Information Nigeria recalls the singer welcomed his first son and his third child with his fiancée, Chioma Avril Rowland on Sunday, October 20, 2019.

Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as #Davido, has called on the federal government to introduce electronic voting system.
Davido said this on Twitter, after he called for the restructuring of Nigeria, as he complains about the increase in petroleum, electricity tariffs, insecurity and education system in the country.Davido wrote;

“Introduce electronic voting …. automatic stopping of seizing of ballot boxes .. #nomorerigging ”

Meanwhile, singer Don Jazzy agrees with Davido, as he suggest that building the electronic voting system with blockchain technology, will reduce the chances of voting system getting hijacked by thugs used by politicians.

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke a.k.a #Davido has been called out on social media for allegedly beating up his bouncer and leaving him in critical condition.
According to DJ TTB who shared the news on Instagram, Davido and his thugs beat up the bouncer till he started bleeding from the nose and mouth.

He revealed that the bouncer is currently in critical condition, and warned Davido never to try it again.

“Davido you can’t be claiming you are fighting for the youths while same night, you and your thugs are beating up a bouncer in an Abuja lounge just for doing his job.

#Davido slammed the Federal Government for banning street protests in Abuja.
According to a new directive issued by the FCT Authority, street protests are now banned as a result of it being against the COVID-19 rules and regulation.

This move however has been interpreted to be a countermeasure against the ongoing # EndSars protests and a way to shut it down.

He said it after Adamu Garba's attempt to sue Twitter CEO Jack for joining the nation's ongoing # EndSARS # EndSWAT protest. 

According to him, Jack has no business with the Nigerian government and therefore should stay out of it. The reactions of Adamu have been criticized on Twitter by Nigerians as some individuals have no right to attack Jack for choosing to stand for the right thing.

The DMW boss who is currently in Abuja was gifted an N48 Million 1200sqm land, by Ochacho Real homes Estate, for a 7-Bedroom fully detached standalone duplex, with 2 room BQ, penthouse, and swimming pool at Ido-Gwari 2, Abuja.

Recall that the father of  3 earlier this year, acquired a multi-million mansion in Banana Island, Lagos. He also has a duplex in Lekki, Lagos.

Recalls both star artists have been at the forefront of SARS protests since the physical protests began.

It’s been a long day of hardwork today for #Davido as he has been in talks with Police Authorities on the issue of SARS brutality.
Davido had a brief chat with pressmen after the long meeting with Police delegates and he made it known that the IG has assured that all demands of Nigerians will be met.

He said, the IG has tasked him to set up an independent panel who will be overseeing Police Reformation process.

Nigerian musician, David Adeleke is widely known as #Davido, has joined protesters in Abuja to demand justice for victims of brutality by personnel of the freshly disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
Davido had tweeted on Saturday that he would be joining the demonstration to demand the scrapping of the notorious unit of the Nigeria Police Force.

The arrival of the artiste sparked jubilation among protesters while many rebuked him for joining the agitation late.

There is currently tension in the area leading to the Force headquarters as the musician and others march towards the police facility.

Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, had earlier on Sunday announced the disbandment of SARS after days of public outrage across the country.
